I just got an e-mail from the head of the MIT Linguistics department congratulating me on my NSF Fellowship. Apparently, it was announced somewhere (though not to me, which I find hysterical). Ah well - I'm supposed to get mail notification eventually. As soon as I do, I can inform the various grad departments and see how they want to work their own fellowships.

Yay, Academic Ego. Though writing the rejection letters to the grad schools I decide not to go to is going to be rough.
