I am in a decidedly good mood. The Huge Data Problem of Doom (TM) has been solved for my computational model. I have a reasonably decent concept to put into an abstract for Ye Ol' Linguistics Conference in San Diego in the spring. I have a plan of attack for doing a computational neuroscience project that actually involves some cognitive science, as opposed to the nuances of neuron firing rates. I have a practiced Calm Voice for explaining the merit of it to my less-than-enthusiastic (read: I'm not a NACS student - this is Sin) computational neuroscience professor.
And to think, only yesterday, everything had gone temporarily to hell. Who knew?
